Sending money abroad from India, with the tax side in order

Banks ask for tax proof before large remittances. We prepare the workings and papers so the transfer does not stall.

What we do

  • Explaining how NRO, NRE and FCNR balances are taxed
  • Tax workings for a remittance from your NRO account
  • Preparing details for Form 15CA
  • Coordinating with a practising Chartered Accountant where a Form 15CB certificate is required
  • Keeping a record of taxes paid on funds you move abroad
  • Limits and conditions under current RBI rules, explained in plain language

Who it is for

NRIs moving sale proceeds, rent, interest or inheritance from India to an overseas account.

You may need this if

  • Your bank has asked for Form 15CA or 15CB
  • You are unsure how much you can send in a year
  • Your NRO balance is growing and you want a plan
  • You want to be sure tax was paid before you remit

Questions

Do you issue Form 15CB?

Form 15CB must be issued by a practising Chartered Accountant. We prepare the tax workings and coordinate with one when it is required.

Is there a limit on remittance?

Remittances from NRO accounts are subject to an annual limit and conditions under RBI and FEMA rules. We explain the current position for your case, and your bank confirms the final requirements.

What we do and do not do. We handle tax, compliance and financial reporting. Property registration and legal documents involve a lawyer, and Form 15CB must be issued by a practising Chartered Accountant. Where a matter needs one of these, we coordinate with them. We do not guarantee tax savings or refunds.
