Your estimate
Estimates only, based on the rules shown here as of 28 September 2026 for tax year 2026-27 (assessment year 2027-28). Rules change, so please verify current requirements or ask a professional before acting.
How to fill it in
- Receipts: money you expect to actually receive, not invoices raised.
- Payments: salaries, vendors, rent, loan instalments and taxes on the dates they fall due.
If a month shows negative cash, you have time to act: collect faster, delay a purchase or arrange funding. Read our guide on building a monthly cash flow statement.
Questions
How accurate is a six-month forecast?
Only as accurate as your inputs. Update it monthly with actuals.
Why does profit not equal cash?
Profit counts sales and costs when they arise. Cash counts money when it moves. Timing differences cause the gap.
